INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
METHOD FOR THE BROWNIES
Preheat oven to 350 Fahrenheit and grease an 8 or 9 inch square baking pan
In a large saucepan, melt butter remove from heat and stir in sugar and eggs and vanilla.
Beat in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder
Spread batter in prepared pan
Bake in preheated oven for 25-30 minutes.
Let cool for about 10 minutes
Then cut with a sharp knife.
To make FROSTING(TOTALLY OPTIONAL)
3 tablespoons butter, softened, NOT melted
3 tablespoons cocoa powder
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup confectioner's sugar
Combine all ingredients and frost brownies.
